WHAT IS THE VB-COMFORT & HANDLING PACK?
The VB-Comfort & Handling Pack brings together three separate suspension upgrades into one coordinated package: Optimised Shock Absorbers at the front, VB-SemiAir Digital auxiliary air suspension at the rear, and matching Optimised Shock Absorbers at the rear too. Rather than tackling ride quality with a single fix, the idea is that all three work together, front and rear, to improve stability, reduce body roll and give the driver a genuinely more composed feel behind the wheel.

It's now available for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (both 4x4 and FWD versions), Ford Transit, MAN TGE and Volkswagen Crafter, which covers a huge slice of the panel vans currently being converted into campervans and motorhomes across the UK.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR CONVERTED VANS
Anyone who has driven a fully kitted-out conversion will know that a van feels very different once it's carrying a kitchen, a bed, water tanks and all the rest of it. The extra weight and the higher centre of gravity that comes with a roof conversion or pop-top can leave the standard suspension struggling to keep up, particularly on winding roads or long motorway stints. The Comfort & Handling Pack is aimed squarely at that problem, giving drivers more control and a more settled ride whether they're pottering away for the weekend or covering serious mileage on tour.

The rear VB-SemiAir Digital system is the auxiliary air suspension element of the package, and it's adjustable via its own digital controller, so support at the rear axle can be tailored to how the van is loaded. Pairing this with optimised dampers at both ends means the improvement isn't just at one corner of the vehicle, it's a more balanced upgrade throughout.
FITMENT AND PRICING
Pricing for the wider VB-Comfort & Handling range starts from £3,995 including installation and VAT, sitting between the entry-level VB-Essentials Pack and the fully automatic VB-FullAir 4C system for those wanting maximum control. It's worth noting that for the Sprinter 4x4, rear optimised shock absorbers are only suitable for vehicles with a rear axle load of up to 3,000kg. Heavier vehicles can still take the rest of the package, but compatibility should always be confirmed before installation.
