With semi air suspension, the suspension is adjustable within specific limits. VB-SemiAir is available for both vehicles with leaf springs and vehicles with torsion bar suspension. On a vehicle with leaf springs, an air spring is fitted between the chassis and the rear axle. On a vehicle with torsion bar suspension, the air spring is mounted on the side of the chassis. Both VB-SemiAir systems support the existing suspensxion.
VB-SemiAir is supplied as a ‘two-chamber system’. This means the air springs are not connected to each other. Using a two-chamber system allows left and right to be adjusted separately, enabling levelling of the vehicle, within certain limits, even when loaded unevenly.
