Connect your Hobbyweld Acetylene Ultra cylinder with confidence using the Hobbyweld Acetylene Ultra Quick Release Coupling,  the purpose-built connector for use with Hobbyweld's dissolved acetylene Ultra cylinder range.

Hobbyweld Ultra cylinders are fitted with a VIPR valve, fully adjustable and requiring a quick-action coupling to connect to your equipment. This coupling is the correct choice for Hobbyweld Acetylene Ultra cylinders, featuring an EN-561 Flammable Quick Action Coupling with a 3/8″ BSP left-hand male outlet. The left-hand thread, standard for all flammable gas fittings as a safety measure to prevent cross-connection with inert or oxygen equipment.

Quick action couplings are designed for use with the Ultra range and feature a 3/8″ hose fitting, compatible with the vast majority of welding equipment. If you are currently working with a welder that uses disposable cartridges, you may also need to purchase a MIG adaptor.

Safety Notice: In line with The Acetylene Safety Regulations 2014, flash back arrestors (FBAs) and regulators must be fitted when connected to acetylene equipment.
