The Thule AcuTight Knob is an intelligent replacement tightening handle designed for Thule rear-mounted and towbar bike carriers. Featuring a built-in torque limiter, it takes the guesswork out of loading your bicycle by emitting an audible "click" once the optimal clamping force has been reached. This controlled tension prevents both under-tightening, which can lead to loose bikes during transit, and over-tightening, which can crush or fracture delicate bike frames, making it an essential upgrade, particularly for carbon-framed bicycles.
